Anyhoe, if it weren't for my sister's dire need of a silky blouse which costs dollars in the mall, then what's the cheapest way to find unique garment you're looking for?

UKAY-UKAY!!

yes, only in UK. And lots of cheap and amazing clothes if your budget only restricts to a hanky. And I wouldn't know how much strain it is just by passing all those long and congested stores and keep looking upwards the whole time. (good stuff are hung an inch below the ceiling and i seriously don't know why) lol.





Guide to Ukay-Ukay Galore ( narrated and modeled by sistah):




First (always asked by deym what it is in nihongo, its Hitotsu), always ride in jeepneys and never in taxi because taxi fare are far more than what you expect them to be. Taxi meters are the ultimate phantom dripler.


Second, because of the immense traffic always bring something or someone to make fun with, in this instance my sister. And WHOEVER said that Davao has no traffic is absolutely daft and will get killed by traffic jam thank you. See picture below.








































it's so congested you will be happy the jeep moves an inch in 5 min. Matina to Uyanguren = 30 minutes + another 45 minutes of traffic before arriving in Agdao Public Market you will thank every God created if the weather's not humid.




Third, blame all the establishment you think that caused the traffic and take a picture before swearing loud enough for others to hear I'll bet my sister, they will automatically do the same. he-he!



















i really abhor passing this route. it sucks even more if the driver you've ridden were extremely enraged of brakes he'd been stepping on it every minute.




Fourth, just show your enthusiasm by taking pictures and do a lot of internal chirping, it will do you good. just don't take any picture of the whole market it's startling to discern our version of public market.



















Fourth.one, remember that all good stuff are hung above and out of your reach. go through them.







































Fourth.two, go through all of them because sorting Ukay-Ukay is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you'll gonna get. he-he!






















Fourth.three, never forget how fantastic Ukay-Ukay vendor can be, selling colorful under-garments in the middle of the market visible to almost anyone. Likewise to those women who were oblivious to anyone and weren't intimidated from the red lingerie unlike the one who shot this picture. **boooh**





















And Fifthly ---errr LASTLY, I stand corrected, show off those cellophaned clothes you bought for a very, very argued/forced/threatened/bargained price.
































P.S. I will never ever get why a lot of people " eh adik sa stolen shots" ii-insist pa na gawing 'stolen', which I always correct as it is candid, ang shot eh halata naman ng bonggang-bongga na scripted lang. Marami talagang mapagpanggap na tao sa mundo! ( sabay tingin sa image sa taas)
